As the Programs Coordinator, Aska actively supports HIH Programs Department in project planning and handling administrative and logistical tasks.

Prior to joining HIH, Aska worked in the humanitarian sector with refugees in Kenya where she provided legal aid services and representation to refugees and asylum seekers. She has experience working in program management and implementation in the development sector particularly on projects geared promoting the rule of law and sustainable development.

Aska holds a Bachelors of Law degree from Strathmore University and is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya. She holds several certifications, including an Advanced Certification in Indigenous Peoples’ Rights in Africa, from the University of Pretoria’s Center for Human Rights; and Socio-Economic Justice through Human Rights from the Global Campus of Human Rights.
