Christian Eddy Ramaratsialonina

As the Livelihood Coordinator, Christian works closely with all key development actors in Madagascar to ensure improved livelihoods in harmony with conservation, guided by the communities who live in and around the Manombo Rainforest.

Prior to joining HIH Madagascar, he spent more than 13 years in the field of community-based agricultural consultancy as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, and later as Regional Director of the NGO Fert’s Community-Based Agricultural Consultancy Unit.

Christian holds a Higher Technician Diploma in Environmental Science and Technology and an Advanced Study Diploma in Human Geography. In his free time, he enjoys playing table tennis and listening to music.
