Collin Barnwell is a software engineer at Verily Life Sciences, where he works on novel medical devices, including an implanted nerve stimulation device, a smart watch, hearing aids, and a retina camera. Prior to Verily, Collin worked at Google, and startups including Handshake and G2.com. He studied Computer Science on an Evans Scholarship at Northwestern University. 

Collin reads voraciously and enjoys many outdoor activities. He built a bike out of used parts and rides it basically everywhere. The bike has a crate on the back with a seatbelt for his dog, Cheeto. He lives with his wife Javi and Cheeto in Oakland, California.
