Eddy Christian Ramaratsialonina

As Conservation Coordinator, Christian plays a key role in coordinating conservation-related activities, particularly in the areas of reforestation, livelihoods, and forest protection. He works closely with the conservation team as well as with teams from other departments within FAMI (Fahasalamana Mirindra), such as the health department and the research department. Christian also works with key development and environmental stakeholders, while respecting the guidelines of the communities living in and around the Manombo rainforest.

Christian was promoted to Conservation Coordinator in September 2025 after serving as Livelihoods Manager since April 2023. Before joining Health in Harmony Madagascar, he gained over 13 years of experience in community agricultural consulting, where he was first Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, then Regional Director of the community agricultural consulting unit of the NGO Fert.

Christian holds a higher technical diploma in environmental science and technology as well as an advanced degree in human geography. For entertainment, Christian enjoys sports, both individual (table tennis) and team (soccer). In addition to sports, he also enjoys playing the guitar and listening to music.
