Gerald “Jerry” George is a partner at a law firm in San Francisco, with a national practice in environmental law. He began his legal career as a trial lawyer at the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, litigating large employment discrimination cases throughout the U.S., and moved after eighteen years to the Environmental Enforcement Section of the Environment and Natural Resources Division. He has been in private practice since 1995. He resides in San Francisco, moving there from Washington, DC in 1988.
