Hasinala Ramangason

In his role as Institutional Partnerships Coordinator, Hasinala coordinates the assembly of grants and acts as an enabler throughout the full cycle of fundraising and partnerships at Health in Harmony. 

Hasinala joined Health in Harmony in 2023 after being the technical and scientific leader for research and conservation projects in Madagascar and Southeast Asia. He brings over 5 years of experience in building projects that leverage international funding, strategic collaboration, and scientific exploration to find solutions that benefit both vulnerable communities and fragile ecosystems. He highly prioritizes collective intelligence in tackling challenges and strives to leverage data-driven insights to facilitate decision-making processes in projects related to people, nature and climate. 

As a National Geographic Explorer, Hasinala holds an Associate Degree in Nature Conservation & Management, a BSc in Biology & Ecology and a MSc in Ecology, Evolution in Genomics. He plans to defend his PhD in Biological Anthropology in 2024. Through field research and functional genomics, his PhD research explores the impact of climate-induced nutritional stress in highly endangered lemurs in Madagascar.
