Herizo Randrianandrasana

Herizo Randrianandrasana, a dedicated conservationist and researcher from Madagascar, holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Tropical Biodiversity from the University of Fianarantsoa. Working as a Research Assistant at the Scheffers Lab, University of Florida, he focuses on Malagasy frogs, conducting research in Ranomafana’s dense forests. Additionally, he serves as an Interpreter Consultant for Health in Harmony, bridging communication gaps between local communities and conservation efforts.

Through volunteer work with various organizations, Herizo utilizes his diverse skill set to amplify conservation messages and promote education, earning him recognition such as the wildscreen scholarship.

Now a Data and Research Associate Manager at Health in Harmony, he continues to contribute to understanding the interconnectedness of human health and nature while supporting communities to thrive sustainably.
