Kinari Webb, MD
Dr. Kinari Webb, MD is the founder of Health In Harmony, a nonprofit dedicated to reversing deforestation and improving human health through community-driven solutions. A graduate of Yale School of Medicine and Contra Costa Regional Medical Center in Family Medicine, Dr. Webb first traveled to Borneo as a college student, where she witnessed the devastating impact of deforestation on both the environment and local communities. Dr. Webb is also the author of Guardians of the Trees: A Journey of Hope Through Healing the Planet, where she shares her personal journey and the powerful stories of the communities she serves. She has also just released The Art of Radical Listening: Revealing Collective Wisdom for Change, which is co-written with Pat Plude and describes the practical skills of listening to collective community wisdom for planetary health.
