Krista teaches and practices family and integrative medicine in the San Francisco Bay Area and has loved the Health in Harmony vision ever since Kinari was dreaming it up while a resident in the Contra Costa Family Medicine Residency where Krista teaches. Krista has been leading medical and nursing continuing professional development and educational exchange programs at Health and Harmony sites since 2014, both in person and remotely.

She is delighted to apply skills in medical education to planetary health. Krista’s clinical and advocacy interests include women’s health, cross cultural healthcare, group care, collaboration between traditional and western health care practitioners and advocacy for single payer health care reform. She is a graduate of UCSF-UCB’s Joint Medical Program and MMI’s College of Ayurveda and is the co-author of “Physiological Medicine, a Clinical Approach to Basic Medical Physiology.”
