As a data and research manager, Laurent coordinates research activities and manages databases using the available communication tools and database management systems. He works with the Health In Harmony team to ensure the databases are complete, consistent, and high quality.

Laurent joined HIH Madagascar in June 2022, and he works closely with the teams of the HIH Data Department in Madagascar, national and international researchers, and visitors to carry out research in the Manombo Special Reserve.

Before joining HIH, Laurent studied at the Faculty of the University of Toliara. He is passionate about biodiversity research and conservation, and as part of his university studies, he conducted scientific research on animal biodiversity and the environment in different regions of Madagascar. He has previously worked in the socio-economic field in the Mahafaly Plateau.

Outside the working world, Laurent likes to play football.
