As the Operations & HR Associate, Marlena supports a diverse range of responsibilities, including systems management, office management and HR and Finance. Marlena also assists with the organization’s financial operations and records and supports the recruitment, hiring and onboarding of new staff.

Marlena started at Health In Harmony in 2023 and has broad experience assisting nonprofit leaders with administration, finance, and HR needs, and a strong project and document management background. Marlena studied business at Seattle Central Community College and earned a certificate of design from the University of Washington. She is deeply passionate about climate justice, diversity, equity and inclusion. In her free time, Marlena loves to spend time outdoors, hiking, camping and gardening.
