2023 marked a big year for Health In Harmony. As well as building on programs with rainforest communities in Madagascar, Brazil, and Indonesia, HIH launched the Rainforest Exchange coalition and played a major role in highlighting the need for nature-based climate solutions and Indigenous leadership at COP28.

On top of this activity, our end of year fundraising drive #InvestInHope called on generous donors to support HIH to scale in 2024. The results are now in, and we’d like to thank all of those who showed their support and invested in hope.

Overall, #InvestInHope raised $464,000, This sum will go directly to supporting Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities protecting rainforests globally. It will contribute to ongoing reforestation efforts and community livelihood programs.

As global heating worsens, 2024 is an increasingly critical year for implementing climate solutions. The time has never been more urgent to invest in proven, people-led solutions to the climate crisis. We once again thank all of those who invested in hope.
