Nur Febriani “Febri”

Nur Febriani is ASRI’s former Executive Director and currently leads as ASRI’s Director of Resource Mobilization. After graduating with a degree in Public Health from the University of Indonesia, she gained a Master’s Degree in Developmental Studies with a focus on Children and Youth from the International Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University in the Netherlands.

Using creative and innovative methods, Febri has taken ASRI’s approach to planetary health and brought it to the national level. Utilizing online platforms and increasing partnerships with the national government and non-governmental organization, she has brought ASRI’s trailblazing message of the interconnectivity of forest and human health to the masses. All while increasing ASRI’s reforestation efforts, leading ASRI’s replication projects, ensuring the best healthcare possible for the communities ASRI serves, and supporting community empowerment throughout Indonesia. 

Febri has over fifteen years in the field of project management in development work. Prior to joining ASRI, she joined the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, and led the Foundation for Mother and Child Health Indonesia. She is also a National Geographic Explorer.
