In his role as Forest Guardian Coordinator, Fidy works to supervise and advise on matters concerning the HIH Madagascar Forest Guardian program. He is responsible for integrating Forest Guardian activities into conservation programs and facilitating regular meetings. This includes leading orientation, where Forest Guardians learn to monitor pressure zones around villages and activities within the forest.

Fidy joined HIH Madagascar in 2022, working in collaboration with project partners and ensuring strong partner liaisons in the Manombo Forest region.

Prior to joining Health In Harmony, Fidy studied at the Mahajanga University Institute of Technology and Agronomy, with a focus on the environment. He completed various internships, including one at Asity in Fort-Dauphin, which specialized in environmental protection via grassroots efforts, designed and led by local communities.
