Sabrina Simon
Sabrina joined Health In Harmony in mid-2024 as a Research & Evaluation Associate, responsible for tracking projects in Indonesia, Madagascar, and Brazil. She supports the organization in building evaluation methodologies and working on diverse research projects, from human health and conservation to economics and anthropology, using innovative, community-led approaches.
Born and raised in the Brazilian Atlantic Forest, Sabrina has dedicated her life to biodiversity conservation and, more recently, to social justice and awareness-based systems change. She holds a Master’s degree in Ecology (2013) and a Ph.D. in Epidemiology (2022). Over the past decade, she has worked with organizations such as Doctors Without Borders and the United Nations.
Sabrina is committed to alleviating human suffering and addressing social injustices that harm nature and disrupt our relationship with the Earth, guided by the principle of interbeing—the understanding that all beings and things are connected.
