As the Conservation Manager, Sedera works closely with all key development stakeholders in Madagascar to ensure livelihood improvement that is in harmony with conservation, guided by rainforest communities.

He joined the HIH Madagascar team in 2022 and has over six years of prior experience implementing environmental development projects in Madagascar. These projects focused on livelihood improvement, monitoring and evaluation, financial development, strategic development, capacity building, and scientific research.

Sedera holds a Masters in Plant Ecology from the University of Antananarivo and a Graduate Certificate from the University of Kent in Anthropology and Conservation. In his free time, Sedera loves playing football.
