strategic partnerships Manager

In her role as Strategic Partnerships Manager, Maggie works to build and maintain cross-sector partnerships with organizations and foundations interested in protecting and restoring tropical rainforests by unlocking the wisdom of rainforest communities. She also manages Health In Harmony’s grants department, works on Health In Harmony’s advocacy efforts, and pursues innovative development financing opportunities.

Maggie first joined Health In Harmony in 2013 as a board member and then board chair, leading the development of a new strategic plan before transitioning to the staff in 2019. 

Before her time with Health In Harmony, Maggie spent over twelve years working in the US Congress as a legislative aide serving in various roles from staff assistant to committee staffer to legislative director primarily working on education and environmental policy. She is passionate about hiking, gardening, tennis, and protecting this planet for her children and all of the generations to come.
