In her role as a Vaccination Midwife, Vanessa supports patients during their vaccination appointments. In addition, she provides prenatal consultations, as well as breastfeeding support and training. Vanessa also communicates patient progress with the coordinator and refers patients as needed.

Vanessa joined HIH Madagascar in 2021. Prior to joining, she studied at the Higher Institute of Paramedics Itaosy Cité Antananarivo, which reinforced her desire to become a midwife. This academic course included a wide range of internship opportunities in the CHU, CHRD, CSB II, pharmacy, and in private clinics.
